Case Study - Llanmaes, Llantwit Major
The project for Controlwise CI consisted of giving the client a home cinema, lighting control and multi-room audio within renovated outbuildings on a farm. The outbuildings were being converted into a small leisure complex consisting of a swimming pool with changing facilities, gym area and an area for the dedicated home cinema.
Having sat down with the client and discussed their requirements they wanted to make a feature of the internal stone walls of the building and this was done using led lighting. The client also liked the concept of having audio distributed around the property from his iPod and music server and video to his home cinema and TV in the gym from Sky HD and a Bluray player.
The home cinema setup consisted of integrating a 1.8 mtr electric screen into 
the buildings surroundings which worked alongside a HD projector giving outstanding quality from the Bluray player and Sky HD. Front in wall speakers and back in ceiling surround speakers gave an attractive neat finish with a true home cinema sound.
A Control4 system was specified to give full control of cinema, lighting and distributed audio in the cinema room, gym and pool area via a 3.5” wall panel, remote control or TV interface.
